Description:
Two vulnerabilities have been identified in Geeklog allowing malicious people to conduct Cross Site Scripting.

Input for the shoutbox isn't properly validated allowing malicious people to insert arbitrary HTML or script code. This could be exploited to conduct permanent Cross Site Scripting attacks.

Furthermore, various parameters such as "t" in "faqman/index.php" and "lid" in "filemgmt/brokenfile.php" aren't properly validated allowing malicious people to inject arbitrary HTML or script code.

Examples:
/faqman/index.php?op=view&t=518"><malicious code>
/filemgmt/brokenfile.php?lid=17'/%22%3<malicious code>

Solution:
Edit the source code so that input is properly validated or use a different product.
