Description: A vulnerability has been reported in Savant Web Server, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to an error when handling certain HTTP GET requests. This can be exploited by sending a specially crafted request, which causes the web service to keep redirecting to the default page, hence causing an infinate loop until finally crashing.

The vulnerability has been reported in version 3.1. However, other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Filter malicious requests in a HTTP proxy or firewall with URL filtering capabilities.
