Description:
Two vulnerabilities have been identified in Forum Web Server allowing malicious people to gain administrative access and read arbitrary files.

One vulnerability allows malicious people to log in as administrators by supplying a " character instead of the password.

The other is a variant of a previously reported directory traversal vulnerability. This allows malicious people to see arbitrary files by using the "../" sequence.

Example:
http://[victim]/../../some_file

The vulnerabilities have been reported in all versions including the latest 1.60.
