Description: A vulnerability has been identified in WebX Server and WebX Lite allowing malicious people to retrieve arbitrary files.
The problem is that input isn't verified allowing malicious people to conduct trivial directory traversals.
Example:
http://[victim]/../../../anyfile
This has been reported to affect version 1.1.
Solution: Install the web root on a separate drive letter to minimize the impact of traversals.
Filter malicious characters in a HTTP proxy or firewall with URL filtering capabilities.
Use another product.
