Description: Some vulnerabilities have been identified in Digital Scribe, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct Cross-Site Scripting attacks against other users.
Input supplied to the "error" parameter in "login.php" and various fields in "register.php" isn't validated. This can be exploited to inject arbitrary script code by tricking a user into following a specially crafted link or visiting a malicious website.
Example:
http://[victim]/login.php?error=<script>(document.cookie)</script>
The vulnerabilities have been confirmed in version 1.3. However, prior versions may also be affected.
Solution: Edit the source code so input is validated properly.
Use another product.
