Description: A security issue has been reported in Web Wiz Journal, which may allow malicious people to gain knowledge of sensitive information.
The problem is that the Web Wiz Journal database file "journal/journal.mdb" by default is accessible by anyone. This may disclose the administrative username and password.
The issue has been reported in version 1.0.
Solution: The security issue has been fixed in version 1.0.1 by informing users that the "journal.mdb" database file should be placed outside the web root in a secure location.
Provided and/or discovered by: CyberTalon
Changelog: 2006-01-02: Updated "Solution" section.
