Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in BitKeeper, which potentially can be exploited by malicious people to execute arbitrary code on a user's system.

The vulnerability is caused due to an unspecified error in the trigger functionality. This can be exploited by luring users into accepting a patch containing specially crafted files.

Reportedly, all current versions (3.0.1 and prior) are affected.

Solution:
According to the original advisory, exploitation isn't possible if the trigger functionality has been disabled by adding "export BK_NO_TRIGGERS=YES" to ".profile".
