Description:
Novell has released Support Pack 3 for Novell iChain 2.1. This reportedly fixes two vulnerabilities as well as multiple other non security related issues.

Reportedly, two boundary errors can be exploited to cause buffer overflows. The first vulnerability can be exploited by running special script against login. The second vulnerability can be exploited by supplying an arbitrary, overly long login name but requires that emailing of alerts has been enabled.

According to Novell, successful exploitation of the vulnerabilities can only be exploited to cause a DoS (Denial of Service) on a vulnerable system.
