Description:
A vulnerability has been identified in Novell Netware Web Server allowing malicious people to cause a Denial of Service.

The problem is that the "CGI2PERL.NLM" module can't handle long strings. This can be exploited by requesting "/perl/a_long_string", by doing this multiple times it is possible to cause a Denial of Service.

It has not been proven whether this can be exploited to execute arbitrary code or not.

Solution:
Novell did issue a patch, but for unknown reasons it is currently not available.

If you do not use Perl you may disable it:
