Description: A vulnerability has been identified in NetTerm NetFTPd allowing malicious people to crash the service.
The problem is that NetFTPd can't handle long strings as arguments to various commands, even simple directory listings with a lot of files may cause the service to crash.
Further NetFTPd doesn't require a username / password and uses "c:\" as the FTP root by default.
This has been confirmed for version 4.2.8.e
Solution: We recommend that you disable the NetFTPd when using NetTerm.
