Description: A vulnerability has been identified in HtmltoNuke, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct Cross-Site Scripting attacks against visitors.
The vulnerability is caused due to an input validation error in "htmltonuke.php" allowing arbitrary script code to be supplied to the "filnavn" parameter.
Example:
http://[victim]/htmltonuke.php?filnavn=<script>alert(document.cookie)</script>%20example.html
Successful exploitation results in the script code being executed in a user's browser session but requires that the user is tricked into clicking a malicious link or visiting a malicious web site. This can result in disclosure of various information (eg. cookie-based authentication information) associated with the site running HtmltoNuke or inclusion of malicious content, which the user thinks is part of the real website.
Solution: Edit the source code so input is properly validated.
