Description: Two vulnerabilities have been reported in pMachine, which can be exploited to conduct cross-site scripting or SQL injection attacks.
1) Input passed to the "keywords" parameter in "search/index.php" is not properly sanitised before being returned to users. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of a vulnerable site.
2) It is possible for malicious users to inject arbitrary SQL code into certain SQL queries when "use_session_id=1" and "magic_quotes_gpc=off".
Solution: The vulnerabilities have reportedly been fixed in version 2.3.
Provided and/or discovered by: 1) Lorenzo Hernandez Garcia-Hierro
2) Melvyn Sopacua
Changelog: 2005-02-22: Updated advisory.
