Description: A vulnerability has been identified in Dantz Retrospect Client allowing malicious, local users to escalate their privileges.
The problem is that a folder and the executable files got "777" and "666" rights allowing local users to manipulate the files.
This affect version 5.0.540 on Mac OS X.
Solution: Set proper file and folder permissions like "755" or more restrictive. If done correctly, this should not impact functionality.
