Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in LeapFTP, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.

The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error when handling PASV replies. This can be exploited by returning a PASV reply containing an overly long, specially crafted string instead of an IP address, which will cause a buffer overflow.

Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code but requires that a user is tricked into visiting a malicious FTP server.

Solution:
Update to version LeapFTP 2.7.4.602 or later:
ftp://ftp.leapware.com/pub/lftp274.exe
