Description: A vulnerability has been identified in Saarport SPChat, which allows malicious people to conduct Cross Site Scripting attacks.
The problem is that the "statussess" parameter isn't verified properly. This allows malicious people to inject characters like "<>".
Example:
/modules.php?op=modload&name=SPChat&file=index&statussess=<malicious_html_or_scripting>
Solution: Edit the source code so that input is properly validated before it is returned to the user.
