Description:
A vulnerability has been identified in Saarport WebChat, which allows malicious people to conduct Cross Site Scripting attacks.

The problem is that the "username" parameter isn't verified properly. This allows malicious people to inject characters like "<>". It has been reported that this also can be used for SQL injection. This however, has not been proven.

Example:
/modules/WebChat/users.php?rid=Non_Numeric&uid=-1&username="><script>alert(document.cookie);</script>

Solution:
Edit the source code so that input is properly validated before it is returned to the user or is used in a SQL query.
