Description: Two vulnerabilities have been identified in Philboard, allowing anyone administrative access and to retrieve the database.
The problem is that admin access only requires that one of the following cookie values are set:
philboard_admin=True
admin=True
No further verification is performed, allowing trivial bypass of the "security" measures.
Also the "philboard.mdb" database is publicly accessible from "database/philboard.mdb".
Solution: Edit the source code to perform proper user verification.
Move any ".mdb" file outside the web root.
