Description: A vulnerability has been reported in BRS WebWeaver, which can be exploited by malicious users to cause a DoS (Denial of Service) on the FTP service.
The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the handling of exceptional conditions. When a user tries to retrieve ("RETR") a non-existing file, the FTP server locks up.
BRS WebWeaver has to be restarted in order to regain functionality.
The vulnerability has been reported in version 1.0.4 and prior.
Solution: Update to version 1.05 or later.
