Description: A vulnerability has been identified in Monkey HTTPd, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable web server.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the function "PostMethod()". This can be exploited to cause a buffer overflow by submitting an approximately 10240 bytes long, specially crafted form.
Successful exploitation results in execution of arbitrary code on the vulnerable system with the privileges of Monkey HTTPd.
Solution: Update to version 0.6.2 or later:
