Description: A vulnerability has been identified in "rinetd", which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service) on a vulnerable system and also potentially compromise it.
The vulnerability is caused by a boundary error in the connection list, when reallocating an array to accomodate for more than 64 connections. Successful exploitation results in a buffer overflow and potentially allows execution of arbitrary code on the system.
Solution: Update to version 0.62.
