Description: A vulnerability has been reported in BRS WebWeaver, which can be exploited by malicious people to gain knowledge of certain system information or bypass security restrictions.
The vulnerability is caused due to an input validation error in the built-in FTP server when processing "MKDIR" commands. This can be exploited to reveal the path to the FTP root or create arbitrary directories outside the FTP root via directory traversal attacks.
Solution: Update to version 1.04 or later.
