Description:
A vulnerability has been identified in GoAhead WebServer, which potentially can be exploited by malicious people to gain knowledge of sensitive information.

The vulnerability is caused due to an input validation error, making it possible to view the source code of server side scripts (e.g. ASP files).

The vulnerability has been reported in versions 2.1.7 and prior.

Also, GoAhead still suffers a Denial of Service condition discovered in 2001. By requesting DOS device names like aux, com1, and so on, it is possible to cause a Denial of Service.

Solution:
Reportedly, the vulnerability has been fixed in version 2.1.8.
