Description: A vulnerability has been reported in vBulletin, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
Input passed to the "redirect" parameter to admincp/index.php in the admin control panel (ACP) is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
NOTE: Reportedly, this can be exploited to inject and execute arbitrary PHP code on an affected system, but requires that the administrator is logged in or logs in e.g. when following a specially crafted link.
