Description: nnposter has reported a vulnerability in Citrix NetScaler, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
Input passed to the "standalone" parameter in ws/generic_api_call.pl is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
NOTE: Other parameters may also be affected.
The vulnerability is reported in version 8.0 build 47.8. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Do not browse untrusted websites or follow untrusted links when logged-on to the Web Management interface.
