Description:
k1tk4t has discovered some vulnerabilities in LANAI CMS, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.
Input passed to the "mid" parameter (when "modname" is set to "faq"), "cid" parameter (when "modname" is set to "ezshopingcart"), and "gid" parameter (when "modname" is set to "gallery") in module.php is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Successful exploitation allows e.g. retrieving administrator usernames and password hashes.
The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 1.2.14. Prior versions may also be affected.
Solution:
Update to version 1.2.15.
