|
Description: Javor Ninov has discovered some vulnerabilities in Big Webmaster Guestbook Script, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct script insertion attacks.
Input passed to the "name", "email", "homepage", "city", "state", and "country" parameters in addguest.cgi is not properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to insert arbitrary HTML and script code, which is executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site when malicious data is viewed.
The vulnerabilities have been confirmed in version 1.02. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Update to version 1.03.
