Description:
r0t has discovered some vulnerabilities in Mantis, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.

Input passed to the "start_day", "start_year", and "start_month" parameters in "view_all_set.php" isn't properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.

Examples:
http://[host]/view_all_set.php?type=1&temporary=y&do_filter_by_date=on&start_year=2006&start_month=03&start_day=[code]
http://[host]/view_all_set.php?type=1&temporary=y&do_filter_by_dateon&start_year=[code]
http://[host]/view_all_set.php?type=1&temporary=y&do_filter_by_date=on&start_year=2006&start_month=[code]

The vulnerabilities have been confirmed in version 1.0.1 and have also been reported in version 1.0.0rc5. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Update to version 1.0.2.
