Description: Some vulnerabilities have been reported in phpBB. Some have unknown impacts, and another can be exploited by malicious people to conduct script insertion attacks.
1) Input passed to the BBcode "url" tag isn't properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to inject arbitrary script code, which will be executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site when the malicious data is viewed with the Microsoft Internet Explorer browser.
2) Some unspecified errors have unknown minor impacts.
The vulnerabilities have been reported in version 2.0.16. Prior versions may also be affected.
Solution: Update to version 2.0.17.
