Description:
Stefan Nordhausen has reported a vulnerability in libtool, which potentially can be exploited by malicious, local users to gain escalated privileges.

The problem is that a temporary directory is created without checking if it already exists when packages using libtool are compiled.

Versions prior to 1.5.2 are reportedly affected.

Solution:
Update to version 1.5.2:
http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/libtool/libtool-1.5.2.tar.gz
