Description:
Securma Massine has reported a vulnerability in Mabry Software FTPServer/X, allowing malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service) and potentially compromise a vulnerable system.

The vulnerability is caused due to a format string vulnerability, which can be exploited by supplying a string containing format specifiers instead of a command.

The vulnerability has been reported in version 1.00.050.

Solution:
The vendor reports that the vulnerability has been fixed in version 1.00.051.
