Description: Kay Schluepmann has reported a vulnerability in NetBackup Professional, allowing malicious people to access files on the system running the NetBackup client.
The problem is that the Open Transaction Manager creates a share, which is used to access the files on the client when a backup is running. The share is created in an insecure manner making it accessible by "Everyone".
The vulnerability has been reported in version 3.5x on Windows systems.
Solution: Version 3.6 is not vulnerable as it doesn't use the Open Transaction Manager.
