Description: Rafel Ivgi has reported a vulnerability in EDIMAX AR-6004 Broadband Router, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
The vulnerability is caused due to an input validation error in the web-based management interface, which can be exploited via a specially crafted HTTP GET request containing arbitrary HTML or script code.
Example:
http://[host]/<script>alert(document.cookie)</script>
Solution: Filter malicious characters and character sequences in a HTTP proxy or firewall with URL filtering capabilities.
