Description: A vulnerability has been reported in sipd, which can be exploited by malicious users to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to a NULL pointer dereference bug when handling certain SIP requests. This can be exploited by including an invalid IP address, which will crash the daemon when trying to resolve it.
The vulnerability has been reported in version 0.1.2.
An exploit is available.
Solution: Update to version 0.1.4 or later.
