Description: A vulnerability has been reported in Snif, allowing malicious people to conduct Cross Site Scripting attacks.
The problem is that the "path" parameter isn't properly verified, allowing malicious people to supply arbitrary HTML and script code.
Example:
http://[victim]/index.php?path=<script>alert(document.domain)</script>
The vulnerability has been reported in version 1.2.6. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Filter malicious characters and character sequences in a HTTP proxy or firewall with URL filtering capabilities.
