Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in VP-ASP Shopping Cart, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct Cross-Site Scripting attacks.

The vulnerability is caused due to missing input validation of the "cat" parameter in "shopdisplayproducts.asp". This can be exploited by supplying arbitrary HTML or script code, which will be executed in a user's current browser session when viewed.

http://[victim]/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=1&cat=<script>alert(document.cookie)</script>

The vulnerability has been reported in versions prior to 4.50.

Solution:
Upgrade to version 4.50 or later.
