Description: A vulnerability has been reported in Yahoo! Messenger, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service) on another user's client.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the file transfer functionality ("ft.dll"). This can be exploited by sending a specially crafted file transfer request to a victim, which causes a buffer overflow and may crash the client.
Successful exploitation requires that the victim accepts to initiate the file transfer.

Solution: Don't accept file transfers.
