Description:
A security issue has been reported in GForge, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to perform certain actions with escalated privileges.

The security issue is caused due to temporary files being handled in an insecure manner. This can be exploited via symlink attacks to overwrite arbitrary files with the privileges of the user running the affected scripts.

The security issue is reported in version 4.5.19. Other versions may also be affected.

Fixed in the SVN repository.
