|
Description: A vulnerability has been reported in libpng, which potentially can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to an off-by-one error within the ICC profile chunk handling, which potentially can be exploited to crash an application using the library.
The vulnerability is reported in version 1.2.21. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Update to version 1.2.22.
NOTE: Various other, similar off-by-one errors have also been fixed in version 1.2.22.
